Oxblood handbag: Michael Kors Astrid Satchel // Faux feather mini skirt: H&M collection for Lana Del Ray // Black sheer button-up: Pleione via Nordstrom Rack (similar here from Urban Outfitters) // Black cami: Banana Republic // Faux leather moto: Target (last year, new version here)
Round sunglasses: Target // Tiered neckace: Target // Watch: Invicta, borrowed from le hubs // Bordeaux suede flats: Ivanka Trump via Nordstrom
This outfit was all about making a statement — comfortably. Upon seeing this skirt in a press release about the Lana Del Rey Fall 2012 collection for H&M, I knew it absolutely had to be mine. I had been coveting a similar style from Kate Spade after seeing it on Blair of Atlantic-Pacific, and for $30, you know I bought this as soon as it arrived in stores! (If you go for it, too, I sized up for added length and am taking in the waist.) Paired with a POC from my go-to flats, a favorite, easy shirt and some classic accessories, I felt pretty faboosh.
The thing is, I want my clothes to look good and feel good. This outfit was simple enough to last a 12-hour day full of writing, editing, managing accounts and traipsing about on site without any issues, but I still showcased my inner fashion girl. I like to refer to this kind of outfit as a #fashiongirlsolution. On trend, on budget, on point for work.

What I wouldn’t give for those legs girl! And that skirt, and that bag, and those shoes, and that jacket. Gimme!
You are too sweet! Thanks, Adiel

Thank you, Amy! So sweet

I love this look! I’ve been thinking about buying something oxblood but was more so looking at pants. I think the way you added the color in is way better. It pulls everything together so nicely.
