Power POC

Faux leather moto: Target (last season, similar here) // Black dress: H&M (on sale in-stores now!) // Black ballerina flats: Felicia by Sam Edelman // Black leather wristlet: Coach (old, similar here)

Faux coral necklace: Target (similar here) // Silver and rhinestone watch: Relic, old anniversary gift from le hubs // Red large face watch: Target // Floral rhinestone bracelet: from my wedding

My ambitious life has been hectic lately, to say the least. Shortly after starting my new rock star job, le hubs was also offered a great new position. Now, we are both commuting long distances and working long hours while simultaneously trying to make more time for a healthy lifestyle — and potty training our puppies. This #getitgirl is in need of a vacation!

A quick solution? Shopping and a date night! I snagged these sweet red accessories at Target to spice up my wardrobe, and remixing this power color was just the POC (pop of color) my work week needed. Over the weekend, le hubs and I spent less time working and more time together-ing. I wore this ensemble for date night after a busy Saturday. Without the accessories, a basic black shift and moto doesn’t say much, but the power POC from my red watch and necklace really took it up a notch and had me feeling the fierce weekend vibe. Layering on two watches was something new, too — and I decided I like it!

While the dress is the same, more than just my accessories have changed since my last outfit post. A fresh new ‘do, the decision to finally join a gym and the resolution to bring out Serious Sassy Sarah (only on necessary occasions) has me feeling even sweeter on the inside — and that’s where real sparkle and style happens. ;)

Xo, Sarah
